Easy for us to read this and say, “yes, I believe and I confess my belief… Jesus rose from the dead,” but do we live that confession? Do we live as the “saved?” Saved to what? For what?
This was the single greatest act that affected all the people ever born in the world, all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
Do we really believe this happened and that because of it LIFE overcame death, LIGHT overcame darkness, COURAGE overcame fear, and TRUTH prevailed?
Napoleon said,
“Death is nothing, but to live defeated and inglorious is to die daily.”
So I challenge us as Christians, followers of Jesus Christ, who has power even over death, to live like we believe we are the saved;
saved to live courageously, and truthfully, and gloriously forever.
